For the third consecutive year, I will be demonstrating my interactive Adinkra-inspired pattern-making activity, which has been a festival favorite among attendees of all ages. My work is rooted in the rich visual language of Adinkra symbols from my native Ghana, which I integrate into intricate patterns in jewelry, sculptures, home goods, and other handcrafted designs. During my demonstration, I will guide participants in creating their own unique patterns and objects using laser-cut cardboard

I would be demonstrating punch needle, and some rug finishing of pre-tufted rugs. I was a demo artisan in 2024 and I set up a table with pre-stretched hoops, punch needles and yarn for an all ages hands-on demo for anyone who wanted to try. I also brought along samples of some finished work that showed the variations in texture and stitches.
